I´m sorry but that´s not right. Start is right, then it goes wrong. You cook the rice in salted water till it´s half done, pour the rice through a filter. Around a Tablespoon of butter into the pan, let it melt, take the half cooked rice back. Make some sort of holes so the water can better evaporate. Turn the heat to the lowest level and take a towel around the lid. Let the rice cook for around 20-30 min. Like this you also get Tardig. That´s real persian basmati rice!
this is definitely not useful for Asian people cuz we do it every day. sometimes two or three times a day
