A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to London, United Kingdom by TravelPod blogger Neil.gent titled “Tourist London – Day Three (London Eye)” Neil.gent’s travel blog entry: “Day Three of being a London Tourist was the City Tour, i had decided that having worked in London for a while it might be nice to learn a little about the city in which id seen only 2 stations and 2 office buildings in 2.5yrs (Not quite true, but nearly). The Tour – The day began early as i had decided to take advantage of an expiring session ticket and not stay in London, therefore a 5:30 start was required to make it to the pick up point for the tour at 7:30. The pick-up bus then spent the next 1hr or so picking up other guests from their hotels before arriving at Victoria Bus Station for the transfer to the original red London bus on which we would be doing our tour. The bus had picked up about 20 people of which i was the only UK resident (not too much of a surprise to me, as most people don’t tend to be a tourist in their own cities). In fact i met a couple from New York who although on a tourist bus in London had never been on a city tour of New York). The open top bus then drove us through Westminster and back to the city (within walking distance from where i had previously worked). First stop was Westminster Abbey, being a city tour we were being taken to places and shown them and told about them, so we didn’t actually go into any of them). At this point we were told about Henry
