We’ve all wished we could give our pile of receipts to someone else to deal with, and make claims quick and easy to send off – now you can using ExpenseMagic. Available on iPhone, iPad 2 and iPod Touch, the app enables you to capture receipts on the move and claim every expense easily, and the cloud-based service stores all your data securely.

Just take a photo of the receipt and either enter the details yourself or let ExpenseMagic’s trained bookkeeping team do it for you. You can even attach diary events from your device’s calendar to your expense so that you and your accounts department will always know what it was for.

If you travel overseas, ExpenseMagic uses your GPS location to select the appropriate currency, and also converts your expense back to your home currency. All your expenses are stored securely in the cloud so they are available anytime.

To make claiming even more effortless you can set ExpenseMagic’s unique Autoclaim feature to send your expense claim automatically to your employer on your chosen day of the month.

ExpenseMagic’s aim is to make expenses painless by making it as simple as taking a picture.

About ExpenseMagic
ExpenseMagic Ltd was founded by Adam O’Kane, Lavni Varyani and Constant Tedder in February 2011. ExpenseMagic’s founders were frustrated and bored with the chore of keeping track of piles of expense receipts so, having seen what the latest camera-equipped phones could do, they decided to develop a mobile app solution.

Constant Tedder is the company’s financial backer. Constant was co-founder of Cambridge-based computer games company Jagex Ltd, developer and publisher of the hugely popular multi-player game RuneScape. Jagex grew from a startup in 2001 to a successful business with over 400 employees, 4 million players and 800,000 subscribers. In December 2010, Constant and the other founders exited selling their stakes to The Raine Group, Spectrum Equity Investors and Insight Venture Partners. ExpenseMagic is Constant’s new venture. There are no external funding requirements at present.
